The book is written by a neutral mind to produce Uganda’s history towards her independence in 1962, what transpired until 1995, with a focus on social, political and economic aspects to ascertain human prosperity. The author has compared Uganda to countries including South Korea, Singapore and Botswana with whom they were at the same footing or even above.
This is the first time book written about Uganda’s history to comprise the first decade of the government of Yoweri Museveni when a new constitution was promulgated in 1995 after the one of 1962 which was abrogated by Obote in 1966.
